WHAT IS WORKER EFFICIENCY?

We create online trade training courses in order to make learning new skills more readily available to everyone with an internet connection. We do this to help men and women launch successful careers and join the workforce that is eagerly awaiting them.

WHY W.E. STARTED?

Worker Efficiency is about filling the labor gap. There are more people leaving the trade industries than going into them: Ironworkers, Plumbers, Electricians, you name it. This labor shortage is creating a huge problem and it's only getting worse with the phasing out of shop and industrial arts classes in schools; along with apprenticeship programs that are dying out, or simply just not being what they used to be. There really is nothing out there to fill the void in the development of tradespeople. The trades are a great career option and path, and that is why Worker Efficiency is designed to teach its students the trades through online video training courses that grassroots the basic knowledge, skills, behavior, and attributes of productivity. Through our courses, our students will be equipped to launch a successful career in the trade of their choosing, and one student at a time, we can fill the labor gap with the greatest skilled tradesman to come.

WHAT STANDARDS DO OUR COURSES FOLLOW?

Our courses are designed, structured, and created through thoughtful research and collaborative case studies conducted with REAL industry professionals. Our "Ironworkers Ultimate Online Trade School" program took 2 years to develop.  Interviews were conducted with steel construction owners, shop managers, foremen, detailers, project managers, crane operators, rigors, and more.

Meticulous research to ensure code compliance was also conducted, and our courses abide by the most current standing standards set forth by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA, American National Standards Institute (ANSI), American Welding Society (AWS), and more.

So, yes. We did our homework.

WHO ARE THE OWNERS?

A father and son duo. A father who has been in the steel construction industry for more than 40 years and a son, whose father made him start pushing steel before child labor laws were created.

"We really wanted to create video course curriculum that would teach a person everything they needed to know about steel construction and becoming an ironworker. However, we didn't want it to be just another boring training video. We wanted to create a course that was so in-depth, went beyond the surface, and dug deep to provide real value and knowledge to the viewers. We want the courses to be entertaining, and full of tools to help send the talking points home: motion graphics, 3D animation, broll, and more. We worked really hard to make sure all the courses work together. We got permission for real drawings, to film in a functioning fabrication shop, and a real job site. All these things, we did to help teach you, the viewer. We know that a person will really make something of themselves if they pay attention and apply what is taught. I think construction companies all around will see a huge difference in the men and women who work for them if they have taken our courses. We really did do this to help mold the next generation of tradesmen and women."
